Terms of Service
The rules for using the feedback inbox, AI themes, voting boards, roadmaps, changelogs, interviews and impact reports.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms apply when you create a workspace or use the service. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company, and "you" means the company.
The service
The service lets product teams collect customer feedback, group it into themes with AI, run voting boards, share roadmaps, publish changelogs, store user interviews and view impact reports. Features available to you depend on your plan.
Accounts
- Keep your login details private and tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including the actions of people you invite.
- Information you give us when signing up must be accurate.
Plans, trials and payment
- Paid plans are charged per product team, monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars. Taxes are added where they apply.
- Trials last 14 days. At the end of a trial, the workspace moves to the free Pocket plan unless you choose a paid plan.
- Upgrades are charged pro rata. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- If a payment fails, we will email you and retry. If payment is still not made after 14 days, the workspace may be moved to the Pocket plan.
Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.
Your data
Feedback, votes, comments, interviews and other content in your workspace belong to you. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide the service to you.
We do not sell your data and do not use it to train models for other customers. You can export your data at any time from the workspace settings.
Your responsibilities to end users
- Have a lawful basis to collect feedback and personal data from your end users, and tell them how you use it.
- Record the end user's consent before storing an interview recording.
- Respond to end users who ask to access or delete their data. We provide tools to help.
- Only email users through the changelog and status updates in ways your end users would expect.
AI features
AI features suggest themes, summaries and drafts. Suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Your product team should review them, and remains responsible for roadmap decisions and anything you publish.
Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- Send spam or messages people have not agreed to receive
- Upload content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes the rights of others
- Try to break, overload or get around the security of the service
- Collect sensitive personal data, such as health or payment card data, through feedback forms
- Resell the service without our written agreement
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a major feature from a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
Suspension and closing a workspace
You can close your workspace at any time from the settings. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why. After a workspace is closed, data is deleted within 30 days.
Liability
The service is provided as it is offered at the time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid for the service in that period.
Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we will email workspace admins at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
